The knife is your true melee weapon in Resident Evil Village. While it doesn’t deal a ton of damage and can’t be upgraded, it’s essential for breaking item crates and knocking enemies back when you’re low on ammo.

You’ll find it on a desk as soon as you enter the first house in the middle of the village, just before the kitchen. If you miss picking it up, you can also buy it from the Duke if needed.

The LEMI handgun is a semi-automatic pistol that deals a fair amount of damage and can be upgraded by The Duke. Although it doesn’t boast huge damage and doesn’t have auto-fire, its single shots can be fired with precision – and you can fully upgrade it during your adventure to keep it as your reliable sidewarmer.

This weapon cannot be missed, as it is given to you by the first survivor you encounter in the village.

M1897 shotgun

The M1897 Shotgun is a shotgun that can deliver extreme damage, especially at close range. Although it has a slow rate of fire, its other aspects can be upgraded to compensate.

He can be found in Old East Town after leaving the house with the first survivor. Once you survive the initial Lycan attack, exit the barn and head to the nearest house on the left (the ones a few Lycans will be watching you from on the rooftops). The shotgun is inside on the kitchen table.

If you forget to pick it up before leaving the area, you can always buy it from The Duke.

The Samurai Edge is a powerful custom sidearm that is only available as part of the Trauma Pack DLC. It can be highly upgraded to deliver powerful shots at targets.

As it’s only available through the DLC, you can purchase this item from the Duke when you first encounter him outside of Castle Dimitrescu, and anytime after that.

F2 Rifle

F2 Rifle

The F2 Sniper Rifle is the only sniper rifle weapon available in the game and offers powerful shots that can puncture armor and deal heavy damage to any enemy you shoot at. It can even be upgraded further by the Duke to deal even more damage with a better rate of fire.

This weapon can only be found in the Attic of Dimitrescu Castle and is hard to miss. Once you get to the attic from the Workshop, you’ll find him at the end of the narrow hallway on a chair before turning left to exit onto the rooftops.

Pipe bombs

Pipe Bombs are an explosive device that can be used to punch a hole in a group of enemies, and can shatter enemy armor and fragile walls with explosive force.

Best used against groups of enemies or against armored targets, Pipe Bombs can be crafted, but will also sometimes be found while exploring and possibly sold by The Duke.

The mine is a stationary explosive device that can inflict immense damage over a wide radius and is triggered by nearby movement. Unlike the Pipe Bomb, it must be placed on the ground and will arm itself after a while. However, it won’t explode from Ethan’s movement, and can even be picked up to be placed again if your target doesn’t get close enough to detonate it.

Like the Pipe Bomb, it can be created with a crafting recipe, and is also found in certain areas, and possibly sold by The Duke.
