Rockstar first opened the Diamond Casino and Resort to Grand Theft Auto Online players in July 2019. It’s located on the corner of Vinewood Park Drive and Mirror Park Boulevard, and takes up quite a bit of real estate. If lucky, players can also turn it into a huge source of GTAO cash in-game. It might be tempting to try the same in Grand Theft Auto 5’s single-player story, where cash is often less available.
In the context of GTA Online, the tour costs GTA$500 for a basic membership, but that just grants access to basic gambling and car storage in the garage. Full access to GTA Online’s Diamond Casino requires a VIP membership, especially when purchasing a penthouse suite at prices above $1.5 million. Players can then take part in work or co-op casino missions. The Diamond Casino and Resort GTAO Heist mission does not require a penthouse, but does involve purchasing one of Los Santos’ arcades, again pegged at $1.5 million or more. If players spend on a luxury suite, they can pay to expand it with things like a spa, private garage, and even a private dealership.

GTA 6 needs a single player casino

There might even be some gameplay rationalizations – a smart player could perhaps amass a fortune by playing and then working their way through the Grand Theft Auto 5 storyline, buying weapons and goods that the game has been originally designed. Conversely, a few bad hands at the casino can force a player to win some cash – which is less of an issue in GTA Online, where that’s largely the point. Both problems would be easily solved with timed access.
Some sort of single-player casino could hypothetically become GTA 6, especially if Rockstar is aiming for a multi-city scenario as some rumors suggest. The low-key game is already part of GTA’s sister series, Red Dead Redemption. Until then, however, Grand Theft Auto 5 players will just have to hold their breath.
