GTA 5 is a model of longevity. A nice surprise for fans in GTA 5
This June 13, Rockstar released a new update to its flagship game called GTA Online: Mercenaries of San Andreas. In addition to all the new content available in this update, the American studio has hidden a nice surprise, quickly discovered by players. Indeed, it is now possible to recover the costumes of Niko Bellic and Claude, heroes of GTA 4 and GTA 3 respectively. Unfortunately, these outfits are only available in the PS5 and Xbox Series versions of the game.
To unlock them, you will have to complete the new career mode level challenges. In the pause menu, a new tab has appeared, allowing you to discover these numerous challenges to take on, each having four levels of completion. To unlock Niko Bellic’s costume, you will need to complete 25 level 4 challenges, compared to 20 for Claude’s. Note that GTA 5 hero outfits are also available. Trevor’s will require you to complete 15 level 4 challenges, compared to 10 for Franklin’s and 5 for Michael’s. A nice surprise from Rockstar for fans of these cult characters.
A particularly generous update
The GTA Online Mercenaries update includes many other new features, such as new vehicles and a brand new weapon, the tactical submachine gun. Of course, the biggest chunk remains Project Subversion, which includes six new missions for 1 to 4 players. In it, you will have to “conduct reconnaissance, recover valuable equipment, carry out daring rescues and fight the various cogs of the Merryweather war machine”. GTA 5 players will also find new private contracts called LSA Operations, as well as new Supply and Sales missions. All of these missions should be much more enjoyable to complete thanks to this new feature included in the update that fans have been waiting for for years.
Rockstar therefore continues to pamper its community of players by offering ever more diverse and interesting content. With these new costumes, it’s time to dress up and hit the streets of Los Santos in style!
