During the May Day event, head to Dodo Airlines and talk to Orville behind the desk. There will be a ticket waiting for you with your name on it, courtesy of Tom Nook!
Orville will tell you about the ticket, then you can select “I want to fly!” Then you will be able to select the special option, only once, “Use May 1 ticket”.
Once you select this option, Orville will explain that the tour is a secret hosted by Tom Nook and due to the nature of the island you will not be able to take any items, resources or tools with you. with you. But don’t worry, you’ll get them all when you return!
You can also still receive Nook Miles points for completing activities in the maze, like chopping down trees or hitting rocks.
The May Day Island Tour is a purpose-built maze that takes up all of the space on the main island (excluding the beaches), and the rocks will prevent you from accessing anything other than the main part of the tour. island.
Since you won’t have access to your own tools, your objective is to reach Rover on the other side of the island by navigating the winding maze and searching for items to help you get past the barriers.
